You groaned quietly as you woke up, squinting your eyes as the rare London sun shone through the thin curtains of your bedroom window, perfectly illuminating your boyfriends face as he slept beside you with his arm slung over your waist lazily. Sighing, you turned onto your side so you were face to face with your boyfriend, who slept peacefully beside you - You smiled as he pulled you in closer to him, almost as if he was able to sense your presence beside him although he was out cold.

You smiled to yourself as you cuddled closer to your boyfriend, pressing a small kiss to his lips and running your hands through his hair, noting to start dropping hints to him about getting a haircut soon. Studying Oscars face rather carefully, you subconsciously started counting the freckles and small moles that scattered across his face.

"You're staring, love," Oscar grumbled groggily, a sleepy grin on his face as he started to wake up. You hummed in response, placing another kiss on his lips.

"How would you know if you're sleeping, Oscar?" You grinned, watching as a blush crept across your boyfriend's face.

You knew how he was always so cool, calm and collected when it came to how he portrayed himself in public, he always seemed so unbothered - But you knew how he truly was, how he loved when you gave him head scratches when he had just paid for you to have your nails done, how he cried at Paddington 2 when all of the characters dove in after Paddington went into the water so they could save him, how he always needed to have a nap after being at the gym and how he would sometimes use your shower gel to try and feel closer to you when you were gone.

"I was, look I'm sleeping again, honk shoo, honk shoo, honk shoo," He joked with you, smiling as you giggled and huddled up to him, your head resting on his bare chest as you sighed contentedly.

"Do you know that you have 36 freckles and 12 little moles on your face?" You asked him, looking up at him with a small smile on your face. Oscar smiled as he kissed the crown of your head.

"You're so strange, I love you."

P.S slight FC use of Olivia Dejonge. Not only is she gorgeous but she’s so smol and I find it so beautiful, especially with how large he is. Hi everyone, this isn't going to be like my other posts but I do want people to see it.

A while back a mother had reached out to me from Gaza on Instagram to help share their gofundme so that she and the rest of her family could evacuate into Egypt.

They were displaced to the south of the Gaza strip and during that time she had given birth to her new baby daughter. Now they are living in one of the many tents that are in Rafah, with the hopes to be able to take their children to safety as soon as possible.

Her husband, Mohammed, has a brother who is organizing the fundraiser so that the Mohammed family can get to safety.

I know that this seems out of nowhere, especially considering that there are terrible people who scam others pretending to need help to evacuate. But for a while I had been planning to post something for this family since I've seen the mothers profile ( lalosham on Instagram ) and have seen her posts. I also had asked her permission to make a post on here and she let me. Had this genocide never started she wouldn't have had to post her children begging for people to help donate.

This is probably one of the only posts where I DO want people to share and reblog as much as they can. While you may not be able to donate, I know for sure that you can reblog, and that reblog can help show it to someone who is able to donate.

🔤 reading challenge !

my tbr has officially gotten out of control. so here’s what i’ve decided to do about it.

I’m doing a book buying ban, but with a twist. no new books until i’ve read at least one book starting with each letter of the alphabet. this is a potential tbr - ill have to cheat a bit for some letters to make this work - but as a strong mood reader i may end up switching up which books. all that matters is one book per letter.

and as a mood reader, the hope is that i will end up reading even more than just the 26 before I accomplish the challenge 🫣

I’ll be using @ haylee.reads ‘s version of the challenge (over on instagram) so this will also include four bonus categories to round the number up to 30: number in the title, animal in the title, color in the title, and three word title.

and if it goes well, I might do a similar challenge at some point with her book bingo!!

I’ve wanted to do these reading challenges anyway, so i figured it might be a way to make a book buying ban a bit more fun !!
